Kids Activity Books: Guides & Tips
These guides are for the stretch of a day when kids need something to do and you need a plan you can start in a few minutes. Most are sorted by the situation you’re in: a snow day with everyone home, a winter break without screens, a craft table on Halloween afternoon, or a long drive.
Most ideas say how many kids they suit, roughly how long they last, what to set out first and where they tend to go wrong. Some are seasonal, like the month-by-month calendar of holidays around the world. Others, like the brain teasers sorted by age, work in any week of the year.
When an activity uses one of our printable activity books or puzzle packs, the guide links to it.
