This set has 50 small animals, all drawn the same way: a round head, big shiny eyes, a thick black outline and a scatter of tiny stars and hearts around each one. The outlines are filled with white rather than left open, so an animal placed on a colored background reads like a sticker, and one printed on white paper is ready to color in.
Which animals
The list runs from pets and farm animals to the wild and the sea:
- Pets and farm: cat, dog, rabbit, hamster, pig, cow, sheep, pony, duck, baby chick
- Woodland and wild: fox, bear, raccoon, hedgehog, squirrel, deer, wolf, owl, lion, tiger, elephant, giraffe, zebra, hippo, rhino, kangaroo, koala, panda, monkey, sloth
- Birds: flamingo, parrot, peacock, swan, penguin
- Water: frog, turtle, whale, dolphin, octopus, seahorse, crab, narwhal, seal, otter
- Small things: bee, ladybug, butterfly, snail, plus one baby dinosaur
PNG or SVG
The PNG files are 2400 pixels square, which prints about 8 inches wide at 300 pixels per inch. The files carry no resolution setting of their own, so if your software opens them at 72 ppi and shows a huge page, set it to 300 before printing.
The SVG versions are traced vector shapes, not pictures pasted inside an SVG wrapper, so they stay sharp at poster size. Each one is built from filled shapes in black and white, around 57 per animal on average, which you can recolor or ungroup in Illustrator, Inkscape or a similar editor.
As coloring pages
Because the inside of each animal is plain white, you can drop a few into a document, print them on regular paper and hand them out with crayons. Two or three to a US Letter page keeps the outlines thick enough for small hands.
