A round, fluffy yellow baby duck is the star of these duckling SVG designs, with a tuft on its head, a bright orange bill and feet, brown eyes and orange cheek spots. The same little duck turns up in 30 situations, from a first waddle to a rainy walk, and each one comes as a full-color drawing and as a black silhouette.

Thirty baby ducks, group by group

Design-Index.csv puts the set in eight groups.

  • Cartoon ducklings (01–08): waving one wing, waddling mid-step, sitting with its feet out in front, spreading both wings, fluffed up asleep with its eyes shut, watching a small butterfly, hopping, and nibbling at a wing to preen.
  • Rubber ducks (09–11): three plain bath ducks in flat yellow with a brown outline and a painted-on wing, one with soap bubbles rising from its bill. They’re drawn in a simpler, smoother style than the fluffy ducklings.
  • Duck families (12–14): a slightly bigger yellow duckling leading three little ones in a line, a cream-white mother duck swimming ahead of two ducklings, and a cream mother duck standing with three ducklings at her side.
  • Pond scenes (15–17): floating next to a lily pad with a white water lily, standing in a blue puddle beside cattails, and splashing through teal water.
  • Rainy-day ducks (18–20): one in sage green rain boots, one holding a sage umbrella with raindrops falling off the edge, and one walking in a cream bucket hat and the green boots.
  • Line art (21–24): thin black outline drawings of a duckling sitting, floating beside a water lily, standing by a daisy, and curled up asleep under a crescent moon and two stars.
  • Sayings (25–28): a duckling above dark green capitals reading “QUACK UP!”, “LITTLE WADDLE BIG ADVENTURE”, “POND DAYS HAPPY WAYS” and “TINY FEET BIG DREAMS”. Those letters are outlined, so nothing has to be installed before you open the files.
  • Baby celebrations (29–30): a duckling popping out of a cracked eggshell, and a duckling next to a sage gift box tied with a cream bow, with a small orange heart floating above it.

How the silhouettes turn out

The mono version of every design is a solid near-black shape. The eyes stay as small white rings and a thin line marks the bill, so most ducklings still have a face. Anything the duckling holds or stands beside merges into the same shape: the umbrella and the duck become one outline, the gift box loses its ribbon, the eggshell joins the hatchling, and the puddles under the pond ducks turn into black ripples. The four line-art designs work the other way round. In color they’re open black lines, and in mono they fill in solid like the rest.

If you’re comparing with other duck sets on this site, the Retro Comic Rubber Duck SVG is entirely rubber ducks with thick comic ink lines and costumes. Here there are only three rubber ducks, and the rest are soft-feathered ducklings and their families.

Sizes and preparing a file

The SVG and EPS files sit on a 12 x 10 inch canvas, and the PNGs match it at 3600 x 3000 pixels with a transparent background around the duck. In the DXF files the artwork measures roughly 5 to 11 inches across: the duck families, the rubber ducks and the sleeping duckling nearly fill the width, while a single standing duckling is closer to 6 or 7 inches. Measure after you import. The DXFs are closed contour lines on color-named layers rather than filled art, and the guide says some programs need you to choose layers or clean up a contour.

For full-body and scene designs the guide suggests starting around 8 inches wide; small faces, the lettering and enclosed gaps may need to go bigger or be simplified. The files haven’t been tested on a cutting machine or in particular programs, so run a test on your own material first.
