This birthday bingo draws on 48 pictures, and each card shows only half of them. Six of them are cakes alone: a birthday cake, a chocolate cake, a strawberry cake, a rainbow cake, a cupcake and a cupcake tower. The rest cover the whole party, from balloons, bunting, a banner and fireworks to a red present, a blue present, a gift card and a ribbon bow.
Toys, gifts and party animals
A good part of the picture list looks like a gift table. There are 15 toys and gifts, among them toy blocks, a toy train, a puzzle, a picture book, a kite, a scooter, a paint set, a piggy bank, a camera, a watch and a play tent. Five are party animals (a kitten, a puppy, a bunny, a bear and an elephant), one is a balloon dog, and the last few squares are face paint, bubbles and music.
A longer game
Each card holds 24 of the 48 pictures around a free space with a cake in it. That means any single picture sits on roughly a third to two thirds of the cards, so a call often misses your board, and a game takes more draws to finish than one built on a small picture pool.
The cards have a cream background, a red frame and a large multicolored BINGO across the top under “Happy Birthday”. The cover page is marked for ages 3 to 10. Print the 30-card set for a class or a mid-size party, and the 50-card set when the guest list runs long. None of the 30 layouts repeat in the 50-card set.
