Forty-two pictures make up this ocean set. Each card draws 24 of them, and any single picture appears on only 21 to 36 of the 50 cards, so players have to look before they cover a square.
What’s in the water, and on the shore
The water life ranges from the everyday to the unusual: fish, a goldfish, a koi, a butterflyfish, a pufferfish, a swordfish, an octopus, a squid, a jellyfish, a crab, a king crab, a hermit crab, a lobster, a shrimp, a clam, a starfish, a seahorse, a whale, a dolphin, a shark, a stingray, a manta ray, a narwhal, a seal, a sea otter, a manatee, a sea turtle, coral, seaweed and a seashell. Then the list climbs out onto the beach with a penguin, a seagull, a pelican and a flamingo, a lighthouse, a sailboat, a pirate ship, an anchor, a treasure chest, a sandcastle, a snorkel and a beach ball.
Cool colors, clear pictures
The cards use a white page with a pastel aqua and blue diagonal-striped border, “OCEAN BINGO” in teal and blue letters, and a blue grid. The free square in the middle is pale blue with a gold star, a short rule line sits under the title, and the bottom reads “Dive in and have fun!”
The 42 calling cards come six to a sheet on seven sheets, ready to cut apart and draw from a bag or bowl. The 30-card and 50-card sets share no layouts, so the same group can play a second round on fresh cards.
