This Thanksgiving set covers the whole gathering, from the first invitation to the thank-you card afterward. The art is warm and cozy: orange pumpkins, a pumpkin pie topped with a pastry leaf, a floral teacup and a blue-and-white jug, stacked old books and pink ribbon, tucked among red berries and fall leaves. Some cards have scalloped edges in cream, peach or sage.
Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving
You get two invitations because they suit different crowds. The family one is headed “Gather & Give Thanks”, with the art running all the way around the edge. The Friendsgiving one is quieter, with a small pie and pumpkin header, “A little feast among friends” under the title, and an extra line for what to bring, such as “Bring a dish and a story to share.” If you host both, each keeps its own date and time.
The reply card asks for names, number of guests, the dish each guest is bringing and any dietary needs, and has blanks to mark “Gladly accept” or “Regretfully decline”.
Pieces for the table
- Harvest dinner menu (4 x 9 in): four courses with a line of detail under each. The sample lists squash soup, herb-roasted turkey, harvest sides and pumpkin pie, and you can replace every dish.
- Potluck sign-up (8 x 10 in): a table with columns for name, dish and allergens or notes, left blank for guests to fill in with a pen.
- Gratitude card (5 x 7 in): three prompts such as “A person who made my year brighter…” with lines to write on.
- Place card, welcome sign and favor tag: a guest name and table number, a framed 8 x 10 welcome, and a 2 x 3.5 tag that reads “A little thank you”.
Editing and printing
Unzip the download and open START-HERE.html in a desktop browser. It needs no account and no internet. Choose a design, replace the example names and dates, and watch the preview change. Headlines like “Gather & Give Thanks” and “Happy Thanksgiving” are part of the artwork. You edit the smaller lines. Long entries shrink to fit, and a warning tells you when to shorten them.
Save your wording with “Save my edits”, which downloads a small file you can load again later. The editor itself does not keep anything after you close the tab.
For each finished piece, use “Print / Save as PDF” to get a page in that piece’s exact size, set to actual size or 100% with background graphics on. Or download it as an SVG. Everything prints single-sided and flat, with no folded cards, envelopes or bleed. If you would rather skip the screen, print the blank PDF, which keeps the art and headings and swaps the details for ruled lines to fill in.
Questions
- Is there an online RSVP like a digital invitation service?
- No. These are printable paper pieces. Guests reply on the printed reply card or through the contact details you add.
- Do my edits on the invitation fill in the other pieces?
- No. Each design is edited on its own, so type the date and host name on every piece you plan to print.
