Snowy picture-book scenes fill the covers of these ten printable winter cards, which fold to 4 x 6 inches. Children in wool hats and long coats play outdoors in deep snow, with birch trees, robins, rabbits and squirrels in almost every picture and a village church spire in the distance. Each cover is styled like an oversized postage stamp: a cream panel with a scalloped edge on a dotted border of slate blue, dusty rose or sage green, with the greeting in matching serif type above the picture and a short italic line below. No card says Christmas. Nine carry general winter wishes, and card 09 says Happy New Year.

Back panel and trimming
The back of each card repeats its own picture in a small round medallion under the words “Winter Woodland Wishes”, followed by “A little winter wonder, sent with love.”, the card’s italic line once more, and a small Doodlora Storybook Stationery mark. The left half of each landscape sheet is this back panel and the right half is the cover.
Print at actual size on white or warm-white cardstock that suits your printer, after a plain-paper test. The colored border is printed right out to the four corner crop marks and the layout has no bleed, so cut exactly on the marks. That gives an 8 x 6 inch piece. Score down the middle between the small ticks at the top and bottom edges, then fold with the picture outside. On the cover the illustration is about 2.89 x 4.33 inches, roughly 354 ppi.
Writing inside
Leave the inside blank, or print a verse on the back of the sheet before you trim. Every verse sits on the right inside panel under the heading “Warmest Wishes” and a small scatter of gold stars, and ends with “With love,” over a short line where you sign. Card 03’s reads “Wishing you peaceful moments, gentle joys, and the comfort of those you love.” and card 09’s wishes a happy New Year. Verse numbers match card numbers. Duplex printers rotate pages in different ways, so mark a corner on a test sheet and fold it to check the verse lands upright and lined up. The exact 8 x 6 inch verse files have no crop marks, which suits a print shop or centering on a larger sheet yourself.
Postcards
The same ten scenes also come as plain illustrations without the stamp border or any words, as 1024 x 1536 pixel JPGs. Printed at 4 x 6 inches that is 256 ppi. A borderless printer or print service gets color to the edge, though automatic borderless enlarging can crop the sides, and a white margin around a slightly smaller print avoids that. The back stays blank for a handwritten note, and the guide suggests an envelope for mailing.
