Pumpkins, acorns and falling leaves fill this squirrel SVG collection of 30 designs. The star is a plump orange-red squirrel with tall tufted ears and a big curled tail, surrounded by pumpkins, maple and oak leaves, acorns and hazelnuts. The color versions are warm orange, rust and cream, and the one-color versions are a single deep brown.
The autumn pieces
Six designs are full fall scenes rather than a single animal. A squirrel sits on top of an orange pumpkin with a curling vine, another peeks out of a heap of maple leaves, and a third holds an acorn next to a wicker basket with a small white pumpkin in it. One lies along an oak branch hung with acorns, two squirrels face each other over a pumpkin, and the last sits inside a half ring of leaves, berries and acorns.
The six sayings are set in serif capitals under a squirrel from the character group: “GO NUTS”, “NUTS ABOUT YOU”, “LITTLE FORAGER”, “COZY BY NATURE”, “GATHER GOOD THINGS” and “HELLO AUTUMN”. The lettering is already converted to outlines, so you don’t need the font.
The squirrels on their own
The 12 characters each have one small story. One hugs an acorn, one nibbles a walnut, one leaps with all four legs stretched out, and one sleeps wrapped in its own tail. Others hold a maple leaf, carry a little basket of red berries, stand under a red spotted mushroom, wave, guard a pile of hazelnuts, cradle a pinecone, stroll in a knitted scarf, and do a long cat-style stretch with eyes shut.
The six silhouettes are more lifelike: sitting up alert, nose down foraging, climbing a branch, running, nibbling an acorn, and curled asleep. Their files are identical in the color and one-color folders, so you only really get them once.
Sizing it for a shirt or a mug
The guide gives starting widths by project: 10 to 11 inches for an adult T-shirt, 7 to 8 inches for children’s clothing and 3 to 4 inches for a mug. It’s careful to call these starting points, not guaranteed minimums. At your final size, check the tail tips, the fur edges, the small color layers and the gaps inside letters, and do a test on your material before making several.
Pick the version to match the job. The color files have 31 to 34 separate color groups each, which keeps the fur shading. In the one-color files every character and scene is one solid shape with simplified fur edges, so inside detail is gone. The pumpkin under the perched squirrel, for example, blends into the outline. The sayings keep their letters apart from the squirrel.
The PNGs are 3600 pixels square, transparent and marked 300 dpi, rendered straight from the vector shapes. SVG and DXF files use a 12 x 12 inch canvas with space around the art, so check the actual size after import. If you open a DXF, its layer colors only mark the shapes and won’t match the printed palette, and the transparent edge of a PNG isn’t a cut line. Those twine-tied tags in the photos are only a mockup, and you get the artwork files, not tags or shirt templates.
