This raccoon SVG collection holds 30 designs of a round, fluffy little raccoon with a dark eye mask and a thick ringed tail. Most of them sit on their bottoms with their back paws out, which keeps the set looking like one family. The colors are soft and earthy, mostly warm gray and cream with sage green and terracotta on the props.
The raccoon club
The 19 characters go from mischief to naps. One peeks out of a green trash can with the lid off, one crunches a chocolate chip cookie, one clutches a paper snack bag, and one sits with arms crossed and a grumpy frown. There’s a raccoon lifting two small dumbbells, one hugging a green blanket, one curled up asleep inside its own tail, one waving and one mid-dance. Quieter ones hold a flower, an acorn, a mug, an open book or a pink heart, one washes an apple over a bowl, and one rests on an orange pumpkin. A big front-facing face and a plain seated raccoon round it out.
The three icons are bigger, more detailed pieces. One raccoon pulls a cookie from a green jar with a heart on it, one sleeps curled around a pillow in a red nightcap under a crescent moon and two stars, and one sets off with a backpack, a bandana, an oak leaf and a compass.
The other eight drop the cartoon look. Four silhouettes show a real raccoon shape walking, climbing a tree stump, stretching low with its tail up, and standing tall on its back legs. Four line drawings show the seated raccoon, the face, a raccoon asleep on a log and one holding a leaf, drawn as thick dark outlines with see-through centers.
Picking the right file
- A sticker or print in color: use the color PNG or SVG. The characters are made of 20 to 23 flat color groups each, and the three icons 48 or 49, so there’s room to recolor the blanket or the mug. The guide suggests starting printed stickers at 3 to 4 inches and checking a test print.
- A one-color piece: the one-color version turns each character into a single solid shape, props included. On the seated raccoons the cookie, book, mug or heart sinks into the body outline, so many of those one-color shapes look nearly the same. The dumbbell, waving, dancing, trash can, face and sleeping poses keep a shape you can tell apart, and so do the four silhouettes.
- Outline work: the four line designs, like the four silhouettes, have the same shape in both versions, with only a slightly darker ink in the one-color copy, and they’re open in the middle. The guide notes the lines are closed filled shapes standing in for thick strokes, not hairlines.
For layered cuts or the line designs, the guide gives 5 to 6 inches as a starting width and asks you to look at the smallest regions, like tail bands and fur tips, before cutting more. Fine fur may need simplifying at small sizes. These are starting points, not guaranteed minimums, and a transparent PNG edge is not a cut line.
All PNGs are 3600 pixels square, transparent, with 300 dpi in the file data, rendered from the vectors. The SVG and DXF files use a 12 x 12 inch canvas and the raccoon sits inside it with a margin, so measure after import. There’s no lettering in this set. The tote bag photo is a mockup, and the download holds artwork files only.
