These ocean wallpapers are 16 seascapes of open water and coastline: breaking waves, a curl seen from the inside, sea stacks, a cove below white cliffs, a reef flat from high above, and a few dim, quiet scenes. There are no fish, boats or people in any of them, and the view always stays above the surface.

What each scene shows

Design-Index.csv names and numbers every design, and both PDFs follow the same order. By subject, they sort roughly like this.

Waves, 01, 02, 07, 13 and 14. Sunlit Overture and After the Rain each have a turquoise wave breaking across the frame, spray blowing off the top, under heaped clouds lit from behind; After the Rain has the heavier, darker sky. Glass Curl is a close view inside a curling wave, with clear sky showing through the opening. Golden Swell has no sky at all. You look down on deep navy water where long swells catch a thin line of gold along their crests. Sea-Glass Morning puts clear, rippled turquoise water in front and a sunburst over the horizon.

The water’s edge, 04, 05, 09 and 16. Tidal Silk looks down on a wave spilling onto pale sand, edged with lacy foam. In Silver Shore the wet sand mirrors the clouds and the sun. Rose Afterglow is the one in sunset colors, orange and pink, with the sun sitting on the horizon and its light running up the beach. Lagoon Arc follows a curving beach around a turquoise bay to a rocky point.

Rocky coast, 03, 10 and 12. Dawn Sea Stacks has tall, pale rock pillars in rough water, low sun rays behind them and cliffs fading into haze. Azure Cove looks down from a scrubby cliff top onto a bay of white cliffs and clear water over dark rocks. Reef from Above is a high view of a shallow turquoise reef with dark patches under the water, a deep blue channel and a line of surf.

Ice, 11. Polar Blue fills the front with chunks of glassy blue ice tossing in the waves, and an iceberg sits on the horizon.

Dim and quiet, 06, 08 and 15. Horizon Veil is gray-blue swell under a hazy, overcast sky. Moonlit Path has a full moon above dark water and a bright track of moonlight across the waves. Blue Before Dawn is the darkest of all: navy sea, purple-gray cloud and a thin band of peach at the horizon.

The wide picture is the full scene

Read-Me.txt says the squares were cropped from the wide compositions, not drawn as separate squares. Laid side by side, each square keeps the full height of the wide picture and loses a strip from both sides. Most scenes come through fine, but a few lose something you might want. The iceberg in Polar Blue is pushed almost out of the square, most of the curving beach in Lagoon Arc is gone, and the left-hand cliffs in Dawn Sea Stacks are trimmed away.

The 3840 x 2160 and 1920 x 1080 files show the same picture at two sizes, matched to a 16:9 monitor, laptop or TV. Read-Me.txt suggests the Fill or Fit setting rather than Stretch. There is no tall version shaped for a phone, and nothing in the set moves.

Every scene in the set is AI-generated. They look realistic, but none of them shows a real beach or coastline. The generated originals were also enlarged to reach these sizes, so the biggest files fill a big screen without adding finer detail.

On paper

Each PDF page is portrait, with one square scene, white margins and no text. Printed at Actual Size, the picture is 8 inches square on US Letter and just under 7.8 inches on A4. A 12-inch square needs the 3600-pixel JPG on larger paper instead. Many of these scenes are deep blue from edge to edge, Blue Before Dawn and Golden Swell most of all, and they put down a lot of ink, so try one page before printing all 16.
