Small cartoon mice fill most of the 30 designs in this mouse clipart set, drawn in warm taupe and cream with rose-pink ears, pink paws and tails that curl across the page, outlined in dark brown. Cheese turns up again and again, in the mice’s paws, under their feet and as two shapes of its own.
The six groups
| Group | Designs | What they show |
|---|---|---|
| Cute mice | a01 to a10 | Standing shyly, sitting, hugging a cheese wedge, walking, curled up asleep, waving, looking over a shoulder, nibbling a bit of cheese, head tilted, sniffing the air |
| Field mouse silhouettes | b01 to b06 | Solid dark brown shapes with a longer snout: crouching, upright, sitting with the tail wrapped round, running, nose to the ground, seen from behind |
| Mouse and cheese | c01 to c04 | Perched on a wedge, peeking over a wedge, leaning on a cut wheel, hugging a slice with eyes closed |
| Seasonal mice | d01 to d04 | A Santa hat and a wrapped gift, a red scarf with holly, a pumpkin in its arms, a mustard scarf with an acorn |
| Mouse families | e01 to e04 | Two grown mice and a baby in each: a cuddle, a walk in single file, the baby eating cheese, all three asleep |
| Cheese shapes | f01, f02 | A yellow square and a wedge, each with oval holes |
The silhouettes are the odd ones out on purpose. The other groups share one cartoon mouse with round ears and a fuzzy outline; the b group is closer to a real field mouse and has no face drawn in at all. The seasonal four bring in the only strong colors: a deep red hat and scarf, a sage green ribbon and holly, an orange pumpkin and a brown acorn.
Printing small, cutting in one piece
For cutting, each CUT-SVG file is one black path. The cartoon mice turn into silhouettes with their whiskers and tail joined to the body, and 22 of the 30 DXF files are a single closed outline. A few cheese and family designs have two or three, and the cheese square and wedge get an extra contour for every hole. On the 12-inch canvas the artwork runs about 9.4 to 11 inches on its long side.
The guide’s sizing ideas for this set are 7 to 8 inches wide for a child’s shirt, 3 to 4 inches tall for a printed cup design, and 4 to 6 inches for laser engraving, testing your material first. It singles out fine tails, whiskers and small accents as the places to check, and neither cutting nor engraving has been tried with these files, so start with a scrap piece.
Questions
- Will the whiskers and tails cut as separate slivers?
- In the CUT-SVG files every single mouse is one connected outline, with the whiskers and tail joined to the body, and the cheese shapes keep their holes. The guide still calls out fine tails, whiskers and small accents as the parts to test in your material first.
