Cartoon monkeys in warm browns and cream with big brown eyes fill these 30 SVG designs, along with a few jungle plants and four sayings to go with them. Each design comes in a full-color version and a black one.
Faces, poses and babies
Six designs are just the face, with rosy cheeks: happy, winking, laughing with an open mouth, sleepy with eyes closed, curious with eyes turned up and a small round mouth, and one blowing a kiss.
Six more are full-body monkeys in the trees. One hangs upside down by its tail from a branch, one swings from a leafy vine by one hand, and one hangs from a branch by both hands with its legs tucked up. The other three sit on a branch, walk along one with the tail curled high, and cling to an upright branch.
The three babies sit, wave, and sleep curled up on one side. The banana designs show a monkey hugging a banana nearly as long as its body, one eating a peeled banana, and one holding up a bunch.
Four real monkey shapes
Separate from the cartoons are four realistic side-view silhouettes: a seated capuchin, a walking macaque, a squirrel monkey with its long tail arched over its back, and a spider monkey hanging by one arm with its tail curled. These four are solid black in both folders. The color file and the black file are identical, so you get one look of each.
Jungle plants and sayings
The plants are a palm frond, a pair of banana leaves, a vine with heart-shaped leaves, and a big cluster that mixes banana leaves, palm fronds, a split monstera leaf and one golden leaf. They work as backgrounds or borders behind the monkeys.
The four sayings read “Cheeky Monkey,” “Little Monkey,” “Monkey Around” and “Wild Little One,” in chunky capitals that switch between brown and olive green line by line. Each one has a monkey of its own. On Cheeky Monkey, a face peeks over the letters with its paws on top. A monkey hangs by its tail above Monkey Around, and one waves above Wild Little One, while Little Monkey has the banana hugger beside a pair of leaves. The lettering has been turned into paths, so no font needs to be installed.
Before you cut
The black versions here are not flat silhouettes. Eyes, smiles, ear shapes and finger lines stay as cut-out openings, so a monkey still has its expression in one color. That also means more small pieces to cut. The guide’s checklist is to look at the eyes, the mouth details, the gaps between leaves and the closed spaces inside letters like O, A and R before you commit.
For a first cutting test, the guide suggests a simple silhouette at about 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide and says faces and lettering may need to be larger. It calls these starting points, not tested minimums, and none of the files have been cut on a machine.
SVG and EPS files are drawn on a 12-inch square. DXF contours are in inches, but some programs ignore that, so check the width after importing. Each PNG is 3600 px square, which is 12 inches at 300 dpi, with the design itself filling roughly 8 to 11 inches of it.
