Twenty painted kittens with big brown eyes, pink ears and rosy cheeks make up most of this kitten clipart, and ten plainer cat shapes round it out to 30 numbered designs. The painted ones have a soft, furry finish in ginger and cream, with one gray tabby and one calico among the portraits. Each number also has a one-color drawing, and that version is the one you get as SVG, DXF and EPS.

The 30 kittens

Numbers 01 to 08 are solid silhouettes with no inner detail. Four kittens sit, seen from the front, in profile, from behind and looking up; two stretch with their front legs low and tails up, and two arch their backs. Next come two moon designs, one kitten sitting in a pink crescent moon and one asleep curled up inside it, and four head-and-shoulders portraits: ginger and cream, gray tabby, calico with gray and ginger patches, and a paler cream kitten. The two paw prints are a plain tan one and a dusty pink one with a heart cut out of the main pad.

The other 14 are full kittens doing small kitten things. One rests a paw on a pink ball of yarn, one hugs a stitched heart, one sleeps curled into a ball, one lies on its back showing pink toe beans. Others peek out of a cardboard box and a brown paper bag, stand over a tipped cup with a small spill, sit beside white daisies or between green leaves, walk with the tail up, or sit, lie down and look back over a shoulder.

Painted art and line art are separate drawings

The painted PNG and the line drawing under the same number show the same subject, but they were drawn separately. Shapes, stripes and small details don’t land in the same places, and the guide says not to stack one on top of the other. Use the painted PNG for a print, or the line drawing for a cut or a one-ink print, and keep them apart.

The line drawings turn every kitten into bold stripes and outlines in one very dark green-gray. Even the calico portrait becomes a striped kitten with a few solid patches. Open areas inside the drawings are transparent in the PNGs, so whatever you print on shows through, while the white fur and eye shine in the painted PNGs are real color.

The pink PNGs are those same line drawings and silhouettes colored dusty rose, handy when the dark version feels too heavy on a card or a light fabric. In the color folder, the eight silhouettes are the same dark shapes as in the monochrome folder, and the paw prints are flat tan and pink.

Sizes to start from

All PNGs are 3600 pixels square with 300 dpi in the file data. The guide notes the painted art was resampled up to that canvas, so the pixel count is not a promise of 3600 pixels of painted fur detail. The SVG and EPS files use a 12 x 12 inch canvas, and the DXF files are in inches with the artwork about 10 to 11 inches on its longer side, so scale down after import.

For a cut, the guide’s starting points are about 4 inches wide for a silhouette and about 8 inches for a detailed line drawing. They are suggestions, not tested minimums, so try a test piece in your own material first. Eyes, whiskers and loose pieces are the parts to check. The paw print toe pads are separate pieces, and the guide points to print-then-cut for small, delicate designs.

Questions

Is there a color SVG of the painted kittens?
No. The painted kittens exist only as color PNGs. The SVG, DXF and EPS files hold one-color line drawings and silhouettes, so a vector version will look like the monochrome PNG, not the painted one.
Are the tote bag and the framed print included?
No. Those two pictures are mockups showing the art in use. The download is the digital artwork and the guide, with no product templates or mockup files.
