This jellyfish clipart is 30 designs built around soft, faceless jellyfish. The painted ones have powder-blue, warm peach and lavender bells over long ruffled arms, with thin curling tentacles in the same colors. None of them has eyes or a smile, so the set reads calm rather than cute.

Paintings, line studies and cutwork

Design-Index.csv sorts the 30 designs into five groups.

  • Eight watercolor jellyfish (01–08). Blue Ribbon has a blue dome and arms twisting in blue and peach. Lavender Lace is tall and pointed, with lacy arms trailing straight down, and Peach Drift swims at a slant. There’s a small lilac bell over very long arms, one swimming sideways, a wide lavender umbrella with short peach frills, a flat blue saucer of a bell, and a pair floating together.
  • Six line studies (09–14) in warm gray outline, named for the moon, spotted, sea nettle and lion’s mane types, plus one drifting sideways and one under a wide, ruffled umbrella.
  • Five ocean scenes (15–19). Jellyfish rise through kelp, coral, bubbles and scallop and snail shells. Ocean Medallion frames one jellyfish in an oval wreath, and Gentle Tide is a wide scene with three jellyfish over seaweed.
  • Five lettered sayings (20–24): “Go With the Flow”, “Soft Tides”, “Slow Ocean Days”, “Drift in Blue” and “A Little Sea Magic”, in flowing script in dusty blue or lavender, woven around the jellyfish and shells.
  • Six cutwork silhouettes (25–30), bold gray jellyfish with open stripes in the bell and wavy arms, among them a sideways swimmer, a mushroom-shaped bell and a wide fan.

The watercolor PNG and the color vector are different pictures

The guide says outright that the two intentionally differ, and it’s the first thing to know before you choose a file. The watercolor PNG keeps the brush texture, the blended color and the fine lines. The layered color SVG and EPS turn the same pose into five flat colors: a dark backing shape with blue, lavender, peach and cream pieces stacked on top. Expect a flatter, simpler look than the painting, with none of the brush texture.

The PNGs are 3600 pixels on the long side with 300 dpi saved in the file, but the guide notes they were enlarged from watercolor originals of 1295 to 1536 pixels. So the extra size doesn’t add painted detail, and the guide suggests starting printed pieces at 3 to 4 inches and checking a test print. For a 10 to 11 inch shirt design, it points to the SVG or EPS, which scale without pixelation.

Before you cut

The single-color files are all one warm gray. The eight watercolor jellyfish become solid silhouettes. In the scenes and sayings the jellyfish turn solid too, while the seaweed, shells and letters stay readable, and the cutwork designs look the same as before. The guide says the single-color art was simplified for a 3-inch starting width, with a minimum bridge of about 0.02 inches (0.5 mm), and that your blade and material still need a physical test cut.

Two details are easy to miss. The single-color versions of the six line studies come apart into many separate pieces instead of joined lines, 245 of them in the lion’s mane study, so group them before you move or resize anything, as the guide advises. And the DXF files are drawn in inches but don’t store a unit setting, so pick inches if your software asks.

For layered color, the guide builds from the dark backing up and suggests 6 inches wide or more, since there are small separate details. Its starting sizes are 3 to 4 inches for a single-color cup design and 10 to 11 inches for a shirt, and it covers vinyl, iron-on and printed gifts, with mirroring only for iron-on film or materials that call for it. Page 5 has a 1-inch square to measure, so you can check that your printer isn’t scaling the page.

The tote bag and mug pictures are mockups. The download holds the artwork files, the index and the guide.
