A fox, an owl, a badger and a few more autumn readers who would rather be curled up with a book fill these fall bookmarks. Every main bookmark has the same layout: a small “Fall Story Club” heading, the design’s name, a tall picture panel in orange, mustard, teal and red, and a short line underneath.
The ten readers
| Design | What’s in the picture | Line at the bottom |
|---|---|---|
| Fox Leaf Library | Fox in a striped scarf reading on a pile of books | Fall into a good book |
| Squirrel Acorn Picnic | Squirrel with a book on a picnic blanket, acorns around | Read a little every day |
| Hedgehog Leaf Parade | Hedgehog carrying a big oak leaf, a red book nearby | Turn over a new leaf |
| Owl Cozy Chapter | Patterned owl on a tower of books with an open book | Just one more chapter |
| Bear Pumpkin Patch | Bear in blue overalls holding a book, pumpkins at his feet | Pick a cozy story |
| Rabbit Apple Day | Rabbit in a sweater reading under an apple tree | A story a day |
| Badger Rainy Read | Badger in rain boots reading under a yellow umbrella | Rainy days, happy reads |
| Bird Leaf Ride | Blue bird riding on a big golden leaf | Let stories take flight |
| Little Leaf Readers | Two children reading under a tree with a hedgehog | Grow your imagination |
| Forest Storytime | Fox, owl and hedgehog sharing a story | Better together |
The five minis keep it simple: one small picture centered on a plain ivory card (a red-capped mushroom, an acorn, a golden leaf, an apple, a little bird) with a short reading line such as “Read every day.” They’re half an inch narrower and an inch shorter than the main ten.
Printing
Each sheet is laid out so the bookmarks print at their exact size, which only works when you print at 100% (Actual Size) with fit-to-page switched off. The designs sit inside an ivory border, so a standard printer that leaves a white margin is fine. Cut along the pale trim marks with scissors or a paper cutter. Cardstock makes a bookmark that holds up through a whole book. The fronts are single-sided, so the back of the card stays plain.
