Woodland Deer is a deer SVG collection of 30 designs in flat, layered color. The coats are chestnut and caramel with cream throats and tails, a few bucks carry mustard-gold antlers, and the trees and leaves are pine and sage green. A near-black green covers eyes, noses, hooves and the deepest shadows.

Bucks, does and fawns

Four designs are buck heads cropped at the chest. Woodland Buck (01) looks left and 02 turns three-quarters to the right, both under gold antlers. Autumn Profile (03) is side-on with an oak sprig and an acorn at its chest, and Listening Stag (04) has a short rack with only a few points, big ears and its shoulders turned to one side.

The does and fawns are gentler: a young doe glancing back, a spotted fawn on its feet, a doe bending down to touch noses with her fawn, and a fawn lying curled beside a fern. Then come five deer that are already silhouettes in every file, black in both folders: a standing buck, a buck in mid-leap, a doe grazing with her head down, an alert doe with one foreleg lifted and a walking buck.

Antlers, scenes and sayings

Designs 14 to 17 are antlers on their own. There’s an open pair set apart, two shed antlers crossed in an X, a rack over two oak leaves and an acorn, and a rack wrapped around a fern frond.

The scenes put the deer back in the woods. One buck stands in a clearing of pines and ferns, another under a crescent moon, and a doe and fawn shelter among birch trunks. Three round badges sit inside a dark green ring: a buck on a ridge below snowy peaks and a gold sun, a doe and fawn on a trail by a stream, and a buck leaping across a valley at sunrise. Two winter designs add snow, a buck among snowy firs with pale snowflakes and a doe and fawn beside bare branches.

Three contour drawings, a standing doe, a buck head and a resting fawn with ring-shaped spots, are single-color line art in both folders. The two sayings put a buck head and a doe with her fawn in a wreath of oak leaves, ferns and acorns above the words “WANDER THE PINES” and “WHERE THE WOODS CALL”. The letters are already vector shapes, with no text to retype.

What the black versions look like

The black folder doesn’t treat every design the same way, so it’s worth knowing before you pick a file.

  • Designs 01 to 17 turn into solid black shapes. The buck heads become one head-and-antler outline and the fawn’s spots disappear. In the black DXF each of these is between one and six closed shapes.
  • The scenes, badges, winter designs and sayings turn into thin black line drawings instead, with every tree, leaf and deer kept as an outline. They hold far more pieces: the black DXF of the birch family scene has 199 separate closed outlines.
  • The contour drawings stay line art, just in black.

The guide calls the black versions the simpler starting point for one-color cutting, and the five silhouettes are the plainest of all at one or two closed shapes each. It also warns that antler tips and fine details need care and may have to be enlarged or simplified, and it asks you to test your material before a full project. Mirror a design only if your transfer method needs it.

Sizes

Every DXF opens 10 inches wide, so the heights run from about 6.3 inches for the open antlers to 15.4 inches for the Listening Stag head. The PNGs are cropped close to the artwork with 3600 pixels on the longer side and 300 dpi saved in the file, which is 12 inches at that setting. The guide’s starting widths are 10 to 11 inches for an adult shirt, 7 to 8 inches for a child’s shirt and 3 to 4 inches for a printed cup.

The colored SVGs use four to seven color groups per design, so recoloring a coat or a tree line means selecting one group. The T-shirt, framed print and tote in the photos are mockups, and the download holds the artwork files only.
