This Christmas word search book gives each of its 40 puzzles one corner of the holiday and a word checklist built around it. The twelve Easy pages cover the basics, Christmas Tree, Santa Claus, Reindeer Team, Gingerbread House and Jingle Bells, with short entries like STAR, HOOF and MINT.
The harder half
Medium puzzles (16 of them) visit Santa’s Workshop, Christmas Carol Night, a Christmas Cookie Tray and Letters to Santa on 15 x 15 grids with twelve words. The dozen Hard puzzles are 20 x 20 with sixteen words and get specific. The Nutcracker Stage asks for PIROUETTE, OVERTURE and MOUSE KING, Christmas Confectionery for STOLLEN, PANETTONE and MARZIPAN, and A Christmas Market for ROASTED CHESTNUTS and SPICED CIDER.
Easy words only go right, down or, twice at most per page, diagonally down-right. Medium and Hard words go every direction, including backward.
Holiday games
Jingle Bell Sprint gives each player the same puzzle and a three-minute timer. Santa’s Secret Hunt (15 x 15, 12 hidden words) and Christmas Eve Mystery (20 x 20, 20 hidden words) print without a word list, so the hunt is blind and the host checks finds against the bonus key. Merry Mix Categories splits 16 words into Decorations, Treats, Gifts and Characters. Gingerbread Dash is a five-minute race through C15 Gingerbread Bakery. Tally points on the Christmas Score Sheet.
Puzzle pages are mostly white, with small festive pictures in the header. The printing guide suggests grayscale if you’d rather save ink, and recommends trying one test puzzle at Actual Size before printing a stack.
