Thanksgiving Word Search Puzzles gives the holiday 40 pages of hidden words, covering everything from dinner prep to the dishes afterward. The twelve Easy puzzles start with Thankful Hearts (THANKS, KIND, SHARE, HOPE), Turkey Time and Family Circle, where the list runs through relatives from MOM and DAD to COUSIN.
In the kitchen and around the table
Roast Turkey asks for BASTING, THYME and SAGE. Cranberry Kitchen lists ZEST, SIMMER and SAUCE. Pie Baking Secrets, one of the Hard puzzles, goes as far as BLIND BAKE and SHORTENING. After Dinner covers LEFTOVERS, CONTAINER and CLEANUP, and Friendsgiving brings in POTLUCK and CONVERSATION. The other thread through the book is gratitude: Gratitude Journal, Thank You Notes, Community Care, Giving Back and Words of Appreciation.
Grids grow from 12 x 12 with ten words (12 puzzles) to 15 x 15 with twelve (16 puzzles) and 20 x 20 with sixteen (12 puzzles). The easiest level keeps words reading forward, across or down, with no more than two on a down-right diagonal. Medium and Hard can go any of eight ways, backward too. Each puzzle page has a line for a name and a date.
After the meal
The bonus pages suit a table full of relatives. Thankful Word Sprint and Dinner Dash are timed races, the second one on T15 Family Feast. Gratitude Word Hunt and Gather and Give Challenge hide 12 and 20 words with no list for players to work from. Table Talk Categories sorts 16 words under Dinner, Table, Kindness and Gathering. Points go on the Thanksgiving Score Sheet, which ends with a line for the Thankful Champion.
