Chicken Clipart & SVG: Hens, Roosters, Chicks and Farm Pieces

Painted hens with streaky, brush-textured feathers set the tone for this chicken clipart. The palette stays on the farm: rust red, cream, straw gold and sage, with deep teal tail feathers and coral-red combs. At normal size the feathers read as dabs and speckles of opaque paint, the gouache look the cover names. Zoom right in and you find they are built from hundreds of small flat shapes, because the PNG is the same traced picture as the color SVG, not a separate painting.

Who lives in the henhouse

• Hens (01–06): a rust hen, a cream hen with gold wings, a hen pecking at the ground, one settled down low, a dark navy hen dotted with white speckles, and a gray-green hen in mid-step.
• Roosters (07–10): folk, crowing and stepping roosters with long curved teal tails, and a fourth standing on a wooden perch.
• Chicks (11–15): fluffy yellow chicks standing, walking, sitting, flapping their wings, and one peeking out of a cracked shell.
• Dressed-up birds (22–25): a cream hen with a green kerchief, a gray hen with flowers on her head, a rust hen in tiny round glasses, and a rooster with a spray of coral flowers at its feet.

Eggs, buildings and five sayings

Three designs are just eggs: a cluster of sage, cream and rust eggs, a straw nest holding three, and one large speckled egg. The farm pieces are a sage-green coop on stilts with a red shingle roof and a little ramp, a red barn with white cross-braced doors, and a short picket fence in cream, gold and coral.

The sayings are “Cluck Yeah”, “Chicken Mama”, “Farm Fresh”, “Happy Hens” and “Rise and Shine”. Each is two lines of chunky capitals, the first line teal and the second coral, set above a hen, the egg nest or a rooster. The letters are already outlines, so there is no font to install.

Painted, solid or line drawing

All that texture lives in the color SVG too: each file holds roughly 800 to 2,800 different fill colors. It scales and edits like any vector and suits printing, but the guide warns it is not a small set of vinyl layers. For one-material vinyl cuts it points you to the solid version, where every design becomes a single black shape. In the sayings, the letters and the bird turn into separate pieces, and the guide notes that loose parts like letters and eggs need transfer tape.

The six line drawings are black outlines with feather, straw and shingle detail, and the space inside them is transparent.

Starting widths

The guide gives these as starting points, not tested machine settings: 4 to 8 inches for simple silhouettes, 6 to 8 inches for cutting the chickens and farm pieces, and 10 to 12 inches for the sayings and roosters. Run a small test cut with your material first, and mirror a design only when your heat-transfer material calls for it. The DXF files hold closed outlines on one layer, set in inches; some programs ignore that setting, so check the width after you import. A PNG prints up to 12 inches on its long side at 300 dpi; for anything bigger, use the SVG or EPS.
