This winter SVG set is a collection of 25 complete square scenes, not separate clipart pieces. Each one is a busy, storybook-style night in a snowy forest, done in deep navy, white and pale blue with touches of copper, gold and coral. The art fills the whole square to every edge, with no transparent background and no white border.
The scenes
Animals and small glowing lights turn up everywhere. A fox sits at the door of a mushroom house in Snow Mushroom Village, curls up asleep beside bookshelves in Fox Library Hollow, and rests on a hollow log in Fox Berry Ravine. White hares sit on spiral stairs and in a doorway, owls perch above a mirror-still lake, a heron stands under an arch of birches, and two deer walk over a bridge of roots. Some scenes lean strange, with a stone face asleep in a hillside, an aurora shaped like a serpent, a clock among snowy ruins, and moths circling an eclipse. Scene-Index.txt lists all 25 names.
SVG or PNG
The two formats are versions of the same picture, not identical copies.
- PNG: 4096 x 4096 pixels, keeping the painted grain and fine marks. It was resampled up to that size from a smaller original, so it is not native 4K detail.
- Colored SVG: a vector trace of each painting in 40 flat colors. Fine texture is simplified, so it looks a little flatter than the PNG. Each SVG is pure paths, with no embedded pictures, scripts or live fonts, so you can scale it or change colors in a vector program.
Keep the proportions locked at 1:1 when you resize. There is no fixed print size.
Not cut files
These are illustrations, not designs for a cutting machine. The files in the cut-svg folder hold one shape only, the outer square, the same for every scene. Use it if you print a scene and want a square trimming line in your design software. There is no interior cut detail, no registration marks and no machine project file, and none of the files have been tested on a cutting machine.
