The truck on these pages is an old-style pickup with no brand badges: a rounded cab, curved front fenders, a wide chrome grille with horizontal bars, round headlights and a cargo bed with wooden side boards and a drop-down tailgate. It’s the same friendly shape on all 24 pages, drawn from the side, head-on, from behind and at an angle, inside a ruled border on a landscape sheet.
What’s in the back
The fun of this set is in the truck bed. It holds crates of apples at a red barn and in an orchard, a surfboard at the beach, a picnic basket with a blanket spread on the grass, potted flowers in a garden, sacks on a stone bridge, baskets at a harbor, suitcases at a country train station, tulips at a flower market, seedlings outside a greenhouse, firewood at a mountain cabin, a canoe strapped on top by a lake, a sleeping bag and tent at an alpine campsite, pumpkins at a harvest fair, and a cut Christmas tree in a snowy village with wreaths on the doors.
Easy, Normal, Hard
Easy pages (01–08) keep to a few big shapes: a barn, a palm tree, an open garage door. Normal pages (09–16) add a windmill, a clock tower, a lighthouse road and market awnings. Hard pages (17–24) put the truck into a domed station hall, a garden with a fountain and stone paving, a courtyard of balconies and archways, and a marina boathouse with sailboats behind. The colored guides use a different color truck on many pages, including red, yellow, turquoise, mint, coral and lavender.

Odd pages of the 48-page books are outlines and even pages are the colored guides. Print in landscape at Actual Size, one side only.
