The truck in these pages is a classic step van turned into an ice cream shop: a cab up front, a tall box body behind it, and a cone sign on the roof in many of the designs. On the scenes where it is open for business, the side hatch is propped up under a plain awning and you can see the serving counter, cups of ice cream and a soft-serve machine. On the others the hatch is closed with a roll-down shutter, or the truck is shown from behind with its double doors.
Where it stops
Easy pages keep things simple: a park bench, a beach with a palm tree, a garden gate, a picnic blanket, a lake dock and a field of sunflowers. Normal pages bring in more setting, including a boardwalk harbor with a sailboat, an apple orchard, a town square fountain, a campground with a tent, a stone river bridge and a school fair with bunting and balloons. Good to know before you print
The truck bodies have no lettering or decals, so the panels are open space for stripes, flavors or your own shop name. Line art sits on the odd pages of each 48-page book and its colored version on the next even page, which makes it easy to print only the outlines. All pages are landscape.
