Helicopter Coloring Pages

The helicopters in this set are friendly, rounded machines with big bubble windows, landing skids and a main rotor that stretches nearly across the landscape page. Each scene gives the helicopter a job or a place to go, and the scene name is printed at the top of the page.

Jobs in the air

Several pages show what helicopters are actually used for. Harbor Patrol flies over a fishing boat and a pier. Forest Ranger Flight crosses a lake and pine forest. Cargo Delivery carries a wooden crate on a line over a farm, and Water Bucket Mission hangs a red bucket over a mountain lake. Mountain Rescue Base has a crew member in a red flight suit next to the helicopter with two gear cases. Polar Research Visit lands on snow beside a research hut, with penguins in the corner.

Pilots and visitors

Only a few pages include people. Friendly Pilot shows the pilot sitting in the cockpit, and Airfield Open House has an adult and a child standing beside a parked helicopter.

Easy to Hard

Easy designs 01–08 keep things simple: a meadow helipad, a beach, a farm, a barn, an island and a snowy stop. Normal designs 09–16 go to the harbor, the forest, a city rooftop, a canyon, a rainy hangar and an autumn valley with a stone bridge. The Hard eight pack in a festival garden, a lighthouse on a cliff, a night city skyline with the moon and stars and an airport at sunrise. The included index file lists all 24 scene names by level.

Printing

The 48-page books put each outline on an odd page and its colored guide on the next. The one-page guide recommends black-and-white mode for the outlines and color mode for the guides, landscape, at Actual Size, with borderless printing off.
