All 24 pages in this fire truck set are about the trucks and the people around them, not about emergencies. No page shows a burning building or smoke. The engines are parked at the station, crossing bridges, practicing with ladders and hoses, and visiting a school.
Different kinds of fire engine
Most pages show a classic red pumper with a hose reel and a ladder on the roof, drawn from the side, the front or at an angle. A few break the pattern. Coastal Tanker and Mountain Water Tanker carry a round water tank, Vintage Fire Engine is an older model with a long rounded hood, Sunny Ladder Practice raises a tall ladder, and Country Fire Engine is parked beside a red barn.
Firefighters on the page
Some scenes add a person to color. In A Friendly Firefighter, the driver waves from the cab window. Lakeside Water Practice has a firefighter with a hose by the water, School Visit Day shows a firefighter talking with two children outside a school, the Town Square Fire Parade has a firefighter beside an old-style engine, and Firehouse Open Day has one waving under balloons and bunting.
The three levels
The Easy pages keep the scenery to a fence, a tree or a station door. Normal pages travel further, to a river bridge, a forest road, a lake and a rainy street. In the Hard pages the setting takes up much more of the sheet: a parade in the town square, autumn leaves, a lighthouse, a moonlit village and a valley full of balloons. A text file in the download lists every scene name with its level, which helps when you are looking for one particular page.
