Cozy Fall Party Games is a bundle of 40 printable games for fall evenings at home, parties and the Thanksgiving table. Each game fills one page, and the page header tells you which of five kinds it is.
The five kinds of game
Guess and Think (10). Clue games read aloud: guess the fall food, the warm drink, the Thanksgiving dish or the cozy object from three clues. One page describes eight well-known family fall movies without naming a title or a character. “Who Am I?” has six autumn creatures introducing themselves, meant to be read in a silly voice.
Word Games (10). A 12-word scramble, a word search with 14 words hidden in every direction, missing letters, an A-to-Z alphabet challenge where Q, X and Z are worth five points, finish-the-phrase and three word ladders.
Challenge (8). Fall trivia and Thanksgiving trivia with ten multiple-choice questions each, twelve true-or-false statements, this-or-that, would-you-rather, 30-second list races, Name Five, and Don’t Say It!, where you describe a word from a cut-out card without using the three words printed under it.
Match and Puzzle (7). Two matching pages, a spot-the-difference with eight changes, odd-one-out rows, a 4×4 picture sudoku, a maze and a pattern puzzle that gets harder row by row.
Party Games (5). A fall bingo you play by spotting things on a walk or a drive, an outdoor scavenger hunt of 16 finds, twelve charades cards, a drawing challenge with six 60-second prompts, and a season-long family challenge that awards points for things like carving a pumpkin or getting lost in a corn maze.
Running a game night
If you only have time to print two pages, the start-here note picks Guess the Fall Food and Fall Trivia. The bingo page has one layout, so everyone plays the same card and races to spot the items first. The conversation cards are written for place settings, and the indoor scavenger hunt is the rainy-day swap for the outdoor one.
Printing
Print at 100% with scaling off. White or cream card stock is worth it for the pages you cut up (Don’t Say It!, charades and the bonus cards). The ink-saver edition swaps the color blocks for outlines and puts two games on each sheet, which halves the paper for a class set. Cut along the dashed line to split them.
Questions
- Is there an A4 version?
- No. All five PDFs are US Letter, 8.5 × 11 inches.
- How many people can play?
- The how-to guide says most games work with two players and get better with six. The score sheet and the scoreboard both have room for six players.
