The buses in this set are the everyday kind you see in town: single-deck city buses with wide windshields and long rows of windows, plus a few special models. Each sheet is a portrait page with the scene name across the top, and the drawing sits in a near-square frame with a wide white margin.
Four chapters
The pages are grouped by setting, six in each chapter, not by difficulty.
- City Routes (01–06): a stop with a shelter downtown, a neighborhood loop past a mailbox and picket fence, a library with columns, a riverside avenue, a market square with fruit stalls, and a rainy morning with puddles under the bus.
- Special Buses (07–12): a double-decker by a clock tower, an electric bus at a park, an articulated bus with its bendy middle section, a harbor shuttle with a ferry behind it, a rounded vintage bus on a hilltop, and an open-top sightseeing double-decker outside a museum.
- Scenic Journeys (13–18): palm trees on a seaside promenade, a forest road with mushrooms, a mountain village, a botanical garden in autumn, a snowy stop with a snowman, and a lakeside afternoon.
- Bus Depot (19–24): a bus seen head-on in the depot yard, a wash bay with spray bars and soap suds, a safety check with a tool cart and cones, a bus plugged in at a charging station, evening parking, and a bus leaving for its next route.
Buses are shown from the front, side and back, so the same vehicle shape doesn’t repeat page after page.
Who it suits
The printing guide gives ages 4–8 and says younger children may want help with the small details. The bus bodies are big, plain shapes; the trees, flowers and buildings around them are drawn with finer lines.
Two separate books
Line art and color references come as separate PDFs rather than one combined book, so you can print the 24 outlines straight through without skipping pages. In the color references most buses are teal with a white stripe, while the double-decker, the open-top bus and the vintage bus are red. Print at 100% scale, one-sided, and put a spare sheet underneath if you are using markers.
