Forest Friends Fuse Bead Patterns
Half of these woodland patterns are little forest sprites under toadstool, acorn and bluebell hats; the other half are forest animals in caps, hoods and scarves, from a fox under a red toadstool to an owl in a starry nightcap. Every chart lists its grid size and the beads it needs, color by color.

Forest Friends splits its 12 woodland fuse bead patterns into two halves. Six are forest sprites, small girls with big hats: a red toadstool with a lantern leaf, an acorn cap, an upside-down bluebell, a fern leaf, a golden mushroom and a toadstool trimmed with berries. The other six are animals in caps, hoods and scarves: the Mushroom Fox, an Acorn Squirrel, a Berry Hedgehog with a basket, a Leaf Hood Frog, a Moon Owl reading a book and a Forest Mouse.
Two sizes of chart
| Sprites | Animals | |
|---|---|---|
| Grid width | 90 beads | 128 beads |
| Grid height | 103 to 141 | 142 to 164 |
| Beads per design | 5,505 to 8,128 | 11,890 to 14,531 |
| Colors per design | 14 to 17 | 24 |
| Width on 5 mm beads | 45 cm (17.7 in) | 64 cm (25.2 in) |
With fewer beads and fewer colors, a sprite makes the easier first project.
Matching the colors
The sprites draw from one named set of 20 colors, such as Ivory, Butter Cream, Moss, Lake Blue and Berry Red, and each chart lists only the ones it uses. Each animal has its own 24 colors, lettered A to X, so the A on the fox chart isn’t the A on the owl chart. The color CSV gives every shade as a hex value. None of the codes are bead-brand numbers, so match your beads by eye. The patterns fit standard 5 mm fuse beads like Perler, and Doodlora Studio is not affiliated with that brand.
From chart to finished piece
Every design is one connected shape. On the one-page charts the squares are small, so the single-design PDFs repeat each chart as four enlarged panels that overlap by two rows or columns; follow the row and column numbers and don’t place the overlap twice. The pack suggests adding a magnet or a hanger once the piece has cooled, and notes that not every design has a reinforced spot for a hanging hole, so plan where the loop goes before you fuse.
