This 28-page printable walks you through one month of self care in daily, weekly and monthly layers. Inside is a set of short prompts and simple trackers that take a line or two to fill in.
How the four weeks work
You start with one page of intentions and one page that sets a focus for each of the four weeks. After that, the rhythm is simple. Each morning gets a line for an intention and one thing you’ll do for yourself, and each evening gets the best moment of the day, something you noticed about yourself and one thing to do differently. A weekly tracker gives you a row of circles to fill in for mood, sleep, movement, water, meals and calm.
The weekly pages are meant for a Sunday evening, as the printing guide suggests. A mood palette lets you color each day, and there are logs for sleep, movement and food, the people you connected with and your screen time, plus a page that scores seven parts of the week from 1 to 10. The month closes with a review for the body, another for the mind and heart, a page of things you’re proud of and a signed last page.
Pages for harder days
Several pages sit outside the routine for when you need them: a log for up to five stressful moments and how you coped, a page with four tools for anxious moments such as 5-4-3-2-1 grounding and a set time for worrying, a checklist of 26 small acts of self-compassion, a list of 24 affirmations and a blank page to write it all out.
Printing it
The journal prints its own soft lilac page tone, so bright white or natural paper works best. Every color was chosen to stay readable in grayscale. The printing guide suggests printing the daily and weekly pages four times if you want a fresh set each week, and spiral or coil binding so the journal lies flat. The 6 x 9 file is for a small booklet or a print-on-demand service.
