These pages are portrait, not landscape, which gives the bus room to sit in a full scene with sky above and plenty of ground in front. The bus is the classic yellow American type in most of the set: a long-nosed conventional bus with stop arms, flashing lights and SCHOOL BUS across the front, plus a few flat-front buses and an electric bus at a charger.
Four themes, six pages each
- Neighborhood Routes (01–06): a bus stop sign and a kid’s bicycle on a quiet street, a small-town main street, a tree-lined road, an autumn route with raked leaves, a snowy morning with a sled and snowman, and a country stop by a farm
- School Day (07–12): arriving at the front door, the drop-off lane, a view of the bus from behind in the schoolyard, the playground with a sandbox, a rainy arrival with rain boots by the puddles, and buses lined up after school
- Field Trip Days (13–18): a museum with a dinosaur sculpture, a farm with a red barn and pumpkins, a park picnic, a library, a lakeside with a sailboat and a botanical garden with a glasshouse
- Bus Care (19–24): the depot garage, the bus wash, a tire and safety check with tools on the bench, an electric school bus under solar panels, the bus parked for the weekend, and two buses side by side
Backpacks, lunchboxes and traffic cones turn up on many pages, so there are lots of small shapes to fill once the bus is done. The printing guide notes that younger children may want help with the smaller details.
Printing
The line-art and color versions are separate files, so you can print only the outlines without skipping pages. Choose the US Letter or A4 file to match your paper, print at 100% scale and one-sided, and put a spare sheet underneath if you color with markers.
