Siberian huskies in this silhouette collection are drawn the way most people picture the breed: a dark cap and mask over a pale face, a narrow stripe running down the forehead, upright triangle ears and a bushy tail curled up over the back. Those markings stay on every dog in the set, including the puppy and the sleeper.

A howl, a sled and two winter scenes

Design 04 sits upright with the muzzle pointed straight up, mid-howl. Design 10 is a single husky in a harness, walking forward and towing an empty sled behind it on a long line. Two designs add a winter touch: 13 is a standing husky with a snowflake floating above it, and 14 is a dog lying down and gazing up at a crescent moon. In design 12 the dog sits facing you with a knotted scarf around its neck.

The rest of the twenty:

  • On the move: running at full stretch, trotting, a play bow, a leap with both front paws up, and a long morning stretch
  • Standing and sitting: an alert side-on stand, a seated dog, a dog turning to look back, a seated puppy and a dog raising one paw
  • Resting: lying with its head up, and asleep, curled up with its tail wrapped round
  • Heads: the face straight on, and a side profile
  • From behind: a seated dog seen from the back, with the tail swept round to the side

Solid and line, and which pieces float

The solid version fills the dark parts of the coat in black and leaves the pale chest, legs, face and inner ears open. The line version draws the same dog as outlines only, but keeps the edges of the mask and coat markings as inner contours, so the pattern is still there without the fill.

In both, some eyes, mask patches and the snowflake and moon are separate shapes, and the sled harness is made of thin straps. The guide says not every design cuts as one piece and leaves bridges or transfer tape up to you.

Two kinds of printed page

The artwork PDF gives each design a page of its own first, with the dog filling about 6 inches on its longest side and a footer that reads “Scale to your project.” After that come sampler sheets: four designs to a page in 3-inch boxes, or six to a page in 2.25-inch boxes, each with a 1-inch bar so you can check that the sheet printed at 100%. The line pages come first, then the same 29 pages again in solid.

Questions

Is the sled design a team of dogs?
No. Design 10 shows one husky in a harness pulling an empty sled. The guide notes there is only one dog and nothing on the sled.
Which pieces come apart when cut?
The guide says some eyes, parts of the face mask and the winter ornaments are separate shapes, so not every design cuts as one piece. It suggests transfer tape or adding bridges, and checking at the size you plan to use.
