In the 12 dessert fuse bead patterns of Sweet Paws, the dessert is the costume. Each animal wears a treat on its head and holds a small version of it, usually with a ruffled apron or dress to match. The cookie puppy has a chocolate chip cookie cap and a heart cookie, the penguin wears a scoop of mint chip ice cream with a wafer and a cherry, and the hamster sits under a waffle dripping honey.

Planning the size
All twelve are 128 beads across, which comes to 64 cm (25.2 in) on 5 mm beads or 33.3 cm (13.1 in) on 2.6 mm minis. The penguin is the tallest at 194 rows, about 97 cm (38.2 in) on 5 mm beads, and the peach macaron mouse the smallest. Pieces this size take a lot of pegboard space, so the pack asks you to check what your boards hold before you start.
Colors and charts
Every animal has its own 24 colors, lettered A to X, so a code on the bunny chart means a different shade on the panda chart. The color CSV gives each one as a hex value to match against the beads you have; any 5 mm fuse bead line, Perler for instance, will do. Doodlora Studio and Perler are unaffiliated.
The collection PDF gives each animal one full page with its legend and counts. For the actual bead work, open that animal’s own PDF, where the chart is split into four enlarged panels with numbered rows and columns; neighboring panels repeat two rows or columns, so place those beads once. Each design fuses as one connected piece.
