Cozy Capybara Fuse Bead Patterns
Two dozen round, rosy-cheeked capybaras in pixel art: one soaking in a hot tub with an orange on its head, others baking bread, reading, hugging a carrot or napping on a crescent moon. These are big display pieces, 15 to 26 colors each, not keychain-sized patterns.

All 24 of these capybara fuse bead patterns share one soft pixel-art character: a caramel-brown capybara with small round ears, pink cheeks and a darker muzzle, usually sitting square to the viewer and holding something. Each one is a large, detailed picture rather than a quick small project. The longest side of every design is 104 beads, and a single capybara takes between 5,091 and 7,275 beads.
The 24 capybaras
- Fruit and snacks: Orange Hot Spring (in a wooden tub with a towel and an orange on its head), Orange Hug, Watermelon Snack, Pancake Chef, Bread Baker, Bubble Tea Break, Cozy Cocoa, Carrot Hug, Birthday Cupcake
- Dressed for something: Strawberry Gardener, Sunflower Gardener, Little Painter in a lilac beret, Forest Explorer with a backpack and map, Rainy Day in a yellow raincoat, Snowflake Sweater, Beach Day with sunglasses and a swim ring
- Flowers and outdoors: Sunflower Bouquet, Daisy Crown, Picnic Basket, Mushroom Umbrella
- Quiet moments: Starry Pillow, Quiet Reader, Heart Hug, Moonlight Nap
Quiet Reader is the only one lying down, so it runs sideways: 104 beads wide and 71 tall. The other 23 stand 104 beads tall and range from 70 beads wide (Pancake Chef) to 99 (Moonlight Nap).
How big they come out
At 5 mm per bead, 104 beads works out to about 20.5 inches (52 cm). Orange Hot Spring, at 90 x 104, finishes around 17.7 x 20.5 inches. With 2.6 mm beads the longest side drops to about 10.65 inches (27 cm). The read-me tells you to check each chart’s dimensions before you set up your pegboards, and at this size that’s the first real decision: how many boards you’ll link and where the joins fall.
The 316-page book handles the size by splitting each chart into 12 enlarged panels, three across and four down, with numbered rows and columns. Neighboring panels overlap by two rows or columns so you can line them up; count those beads once. The overview page that opens each design shows the whole grid with its legend, and the index on page 315 gives the starting page for each one.
Colors
Every capybara has its own legend, lettered A onward, with a hex value and a count for each color: 15 colors for Forest Explorer, up to 26 for Orange Hot Spring, Little Painter and Sunflower Bouquet. Shared letters don’t mean shared colors. A in one design is not A in the next, and the letters aren’t any bead maker’s shade numbers, so match real beads to the swatches by eye. The color-count CSV puts every design’s totals in one file for shopping.
The charts work with standard 5 mm fuse beads such as Perler as well as smaller 2.6 mm beads. Doodlora Studio is not affiliated with Perler or any other bead brand. The book prints on US Letter at 100%, or scaled to fit A4. An adult should handle the iron.
