Unicorns, rainbows and a sparkly magic wand share these cards with the party food, and nearly every picture wears a tiny smiling face, from the heart and the cloud to the candle and the donut. The page is white inside a pastel rainbow-striped border, the title is spelled out in rainbow letters, and a pink grid holds the pictures.
The 25 pictures
The party side of the list is a birthday cake, a cupcake, a candle, a party hat, a party popper, a party drink, a balloon, a gift box and a gift bag. The sweets are a lollipop, a wrapped candy, an ice cream cone and a sprinkled donut. The rest lean dreamy: a unicorn, a rainbow, a magic wand, a diamond, a flower, a flower crown, a butterfly, a moon, a cloud, a heart, a star and a teddy bear.
What’s printed on each card
Every card repeats the rule in a line under the title, first to get five in a row across, down or diagonally shouts BINGO, so kids who can read have it in front of them all game. The free square in the middle is pale pink with a gold star, and “Happy Birthday!” runs along the bottom.
A card holds 24 of the 25 pictures, which means every card is missing just one. Nearly every call covers a square for everybody, so rounds go quickly. No two cards are arranged the same way, though some carry the same 24 pictures in a different order, and the 30-card set shares no layouts with the 50-card set.
