Only the heads made it into this bunny set, ears up or flopped down, and not one of them has a face. The eyes, nose and mouth are left out on purpose, so every design is a clean head shape. Six are front views and four are profiles. The other ten add a decoration.

Six front views, four ear shapes

Design 1 is the classic head with two tall ears standing straight up. Number 2 spreads the ears wider over full, round cheeks, and 3 is a young bunny with shorter ears on a rounder head. In 4 the ears are lop ears hanging down both sides of a domed head, which makes it the widest design in the set. Number 5 has one ear upright and the other bent over at the tip, and 6 tilts the head so both ears lean the same way.

Four profiles

Designs 7 and 8 are side views facing left and right, the first small and upright, the second with its ears swept back along the neck. Number 9 is a lop-eared profile with a long ear hanging down past the cheek, and in 10 the bunny lifts its nose with its ears laid flat behind.

Ten decorated heads

  • 11 has a bow tied on one ear, and 12 wears a bow tie under the chin.
  • 13 has a crown of three flowers with leaves at each end, and 14 has a single daisy tucked into a folded ear.
  • 15 sits between two leafy branches, like a small wreath.
  • 16 is an egg with a zigzag crack across it and bunny ears on top, one of them folded.
  • 17 is framed by three small hearts, and 18 has a crescent moon above and a four-point star on each side.
  • 19 is a side view with a butterfly near the ears.
  • 20 puts a front-view head inside a scalloped oval frame.

Only 16 has an Easter egg in it.

Solid shape or double line

The solid version is a filled black head with nothing inside it. Decorations that don’t touch the head stay as separate black pieces: the hearts, the moon and stars, the butterfly and the two branches. The zigzag crack splits the egg into a top and a bottom. The outline version is a thin black band that follows the same edge, built from an outer and an inner contour, so the middle of the head stays open. On the decorated heads each petal, bow loop, heart and star gets its own band. The Start-Here notes describe these as decorative files rather than connected stencils. Some outline details come as separate pieces.

How big they print

On the 8 x 6 inch vector canvas the heads are smaller than the canvas, about 4.6 inches tall, and the PNGs match that canvas at 2400 x 1800 pixels. The full-page PDFs scale each head up to fill the sheet. On US Letter the classic head stands about 8.9 inches tall and the lop-eared head runs about 7.5 inches wide. The 4-up pages print the classic head about 4.2 inches tall and the 6-up pages about 2.7 inches, while wide heads like the lop ears come out about 3.4 inches across in both. Print at 100% in portrait orientation. The guide also notes that the PDF layouts aren’t a guide to cutting sizes and that nothing has been cut as a test, so try a small size in your own material first.

Questions

Do the bunnies have faces?
No. The eyes, nose and mouth are left out on purpose in every design, so each head is a blank shape you can leave plain or add features to yourself.
Is there a full-body bunny in the set?
No, these are heads only. The profiles include a short neck, and design 16 sets a pair of ears on an egg shape, but there is no whole rabbit.
