Dark Feminine Shadow Work Workbook

Fourteen guided reflections fill this 20-page printable shadow work journal. Each reflection takes one page: a title, one or two sentences that set up the theme, three questions, and widely spaced ruled lines filling the rest of the page. A faint symbol sits behind the lines on each page, and the reflection number is marked in a small circle in the corner.

The three chapters

• Excavate (5 reflections): Sacred Anger, The Fear Beneath, Where I Abandon Myself, My Forbidden Desires, The Inner Critic.
• Reclaim, return to the light (4 reflections): Reparenting My Inner Child, Forgiveness & Release, Reclaiming My Power, Who I Am Becoming.

To give a sense of the questions, the inherited-stories page asks what you learned about your worth as a child, whose voice that belief really is, and what truer story you can choose now.

Using it

The opening page suggests a quiet space and a few undisturbed minutes, and says you can go in order or follow what calls you. It also says that if a page stirs something heavy, you should pause.

Look and printing

Four pages are full-color art: the cover and the three chapter openers, each showing a woman in deep red and gold robes with roses, stars and moon phases. The other 16 pages (the how-to page, the 14 reflections and a short closing page) are cream with a thin gold frame, so they take far less ink than the art pages. Both the US Letter and A4 files hold the same 20 pages.
