Object Tangram Puzzle Cards cover 60 things from around the house and beyond, each built from the seven tangram pieces. Every object has an easy card with each piece in its own color, a challenge card that shows one black silhouette, and an answer key where white lines mark where the pieces sit.
Ten objects in each group
| Group | Objects |
|---|---|
| Home | chair, lamp, table, chandelier, cup, goblet, bowl, teapot, vase, candlestick |
| Tools | hammer, shovel, knife, sword, pistol, watering can, windmill, shopping cart, stroller, key |
| Transport | car, sailboat, airplane, helicopter, ship, submarine, rocket, spaceship, tank, hot air balloon |
| Buildings | house, bridge, arch bridge, tower, two castles, yurt, mountain, tree, palm tree |
| Symbols | heart, two arrows, gem, crown, gold ingot, gift, stairs, two flowers |
| Everyday | candle, pipe, telescope, necktie, shirt, helmet, high heel, phone, candy, apple |
Each card carries an object number from 001 to 060 and its group name, so a mixed pile goes back in order quickly. Parents who would rather skip the knife, sword, pistol or tank can leave those pages out; they are numbered 013, 014, 015 and 029.
Laying out the pieces
The template page prints the whole set as one 150 mm square, with a 100 mm bar underneath to confirm the printer kept the scale. The how-to-play page keeps the rules short: use all seven, turn or flip them as needed, and never overlap. The objects are drawn at whatever size fills the card, so children build next to the card rather than on top of it. The answer keys sit together at the end of the file, which makes it easy to print them separately and hold them back.
Saver file and JPGs
The paper saver and ink saver file holds both paper sizes. Its first 60 pages put four cards on a sheet, an easy card and a challenge card for two objects, with A4 on pages 1 to 30 and US Letter on pages 31 to 60. The rest are the 60 challenge silhouettes redrawn as outlines, one per page, again in A4 and then US Letter. The JPGs are laid out as squares rather than full pages, with the group and number printed along the bottom and the object number repeated down the right edge.
