Movie Night Party Games
A movie night kit that runs the whole evening, with games before the movie, bingo and a scene spotter while it plays, and ratings and awards after the credits. The host kit sorts out teams, scoring and tie-breakers so nobody has to invent rules on the spot.

Movie Night Party Games is a 181-page printable kit for an evening built around a movie. There are rounds to play before anyone presses play, sheets to fill in while the movie runs, and awards and reviews for after the credits. Every game page lists its player count, which runs from 1 up to 12, and roughly how long it takes.
Six collections of games
- Trivia. Ten quiz rounds of 25 or 30 items each, on film history and craft and then on animated, comedy, action and romance movies. Some rounds are split into easy, medium and hard.
- Guess the movie. Plots squeezed into one sentence, three clues per movie with more points for an early guess, emoji titles, initials only, five-word summaries and short case files.
- Quotes and characters. Who Said It?, Quote or Fake? (ten real lines and ten invented ones), Hero or Villain? and a sheet for casting your own dream movie.
- Puzzles. A 24-word search, an 18-answer crossword, anagrams, scrambles and a connections puzzle of ten groups of four.
- Party and social. Would you rather, never have I ever, 36 charades prompts, movie debates, hot takes and 36 conversation cards. The host guide points to this collection and the next for a room that doesn’t watch many movies.
- Challenges. Name 5 Movies in sixty seconds, 30-second challenges, five-second rapid fire, Draw the Movie and a two-team guessing race.
Before, during and after the movie
Fifteen activities follow the evening itself. Before the movie, everyone nominates and votes on what to watch, fills in a prediction sheet and drafts snacks like a sports team. During it, Movie Bingo has ten different cards of things that happen on screen (a door slams, a phone rings, someone runs upstairs), alongside a scene spotter, a quote catcher and a 24-item on-screen scavenger hunt, none of which need a pause. Afterward come a rating card with seven scores, a one-page review, fourteen awards for the movie, a vote for the best character and a final “would you recommend it?”
For the host
The host guide suggests three games a night (one loud, one quiet and one that runs during the movie), one point per answer with two for anything marked hard, and mixed teams that pair a film buff with someone who watches nothing. Ties go to the 24 tie-breaker cards, like naming a movie for every letter of CINEMA. The two run sheets plan the hour or hour and a half around the movie, and the scoreboard fits up to eight players. The answers are in one section at the back, filed by collection and game number, so print that part for the host only.
Which file to print
The US Letter file has 181 pages. The A4 file holds the same games in 170 pages, because it’s a separate layout rather than a scaled copy. The two-per-page version puts two Letter pages side by side on a landscape sheet, which saves paper but shrinks the text to about two-thirds, so use it for rounds read aloud rather than sheets people write on. Print at Actual size with two-sided printing off, and use slightly heavier paper for the cards you cut out. The pages have a cream background, and turning off “background graphics” in the print dialog saves ink without losing any text.
