These kids playing coloring pages follow cartoon children through an ordinary day, one activity per page. The pages are portrait, with the number and title printed at the top, such as “08 Jumping Over Puddles”, and the scene filling the rest of the sheet. A second PDF repeats all 30 in color.
What the children are doing
| Pages | Scenes |
|---|---|
| 01–05 | Using the senses: watching a butterfly on a sunflower, listening to birds, smelling garden herbs, tasting an apple on a picnic blanket, and touching the bark of a tree |
| 06–10 | Moving the whole body: balancing on stepping stones, running in the park, jumping over a puddle in rain boots, stretching in pajamas, and dancing in a living room |
| 11–17 | Playing and carrying: throwing a ball toward a basket, catching a beach ball, kicking a soccer ball at a goal, riding a bike in a helmet, climbing playground steps, pushing a wagon with a teddy bear, and walking a woodland path with a basket |
| 18–20 | Busy hands: drawing at a desk, building with blocks, and tying shoelaces |
| 21–26 | Daily routines: washing hands, brushing hair, putting on a jacket, drinking water on a park bench, resting on a picnic blanket, and sleeping at night |
| 27–30 | Books, talk and music: reading a picture book with a cat curled up nearby, chatting with a friend on a bench, playing a hand drum, and waving hello as a grown-up comes through the front door |
How much there is to color
The children are drawn large with big eyes and simple clothes, but none of the pages leave an empty background. There are flower beds, fences, bookshelves, bath towels and patterned rugs behind every child, so a page holds plenty of small shapes as well as the big ones. A child who likes to color the figure and stop there can do that, and someone patient can spend a long time on the leaves and tiles.
Color pages and printing
The color references use bright, plain fills: blue skies, green grass, red and blue clothes. Page numbers match across the two files, so page 14 is the bike scene in both. Print the line-art PDF in portrait, one page per sheet at Actual Size, and try a single page first.
Questions
- Does this set show body parts, organs or a skeleton?
- No. Despite the small "Human Body Daily Adventures" line in each page footer, every page is a cartoon scene of a child doing something, such as tasting an apple or climbing playground steps. There are no labeled body diagrams.
- Which folder should I print from?
- Both folders hold the same 30 scenes. Use US-Letter for 8.5 × 11 in paper and A4 for A4 paper; each folder's start-here file covers that size.
