Vintage Garden Shaped Bookmarks
Roses, peonies, irises and wisteria wrapped around old garden things, a gate, a lantern, a key, a birdcage, a watering can. Each bookmark is cut along the outline of its flowers instead of a rectangle, in blush pink, burgundy, sage and printed gold.

None of these 25 vintage garden bookmarks is a plain rectangle. Instead, each one follows the outline of its own bouquet, with a narrow cream margin around the edge so the shape holds together once it’s cut out. The color stays in one old-fashioned range: blush and dusty pink, deep burgundy, sage green, cream and gold scrollwork.
The 25 designs
Every bookmark pairs a flower with something you’d find in an old garden:
Rose Arbor, Peony Ribbon, Iris Cameo, Hydrangea Urn, Foxglove Bell, Lily Lantern, Wisteria Gate, Dahlia Spade, Camellia Pavilion, Clematis Trellis, Magnolia Fountain, Poppy Basket, Lavender Key, Sweetpea Watering Can, Chrysanthemum Sundial, Rose Birdcage, Lilac Garden Mirror, Ranunculus Fan, Rose Conservatory, Hellebore Cameo, Orchid Column, Tulip Garden Urn, Honeysuckle Pergola, Anemone Locket and Rose Peacock Garden.
The names describe the pictures pretty literally. Lavender Key has a gold key running up the middle, Dahlia Spade wraps a garden spade in dahlias, Clematis Trellis has a small white cat asleep at the bottom, and a few (Rose Arbor, Lilac Garden Mirror, Anemone Locket) frame a tiny garden path inside an arch, mirror or locket. The gold is part of the printed picture, not foil.
How the cutting works
On the PDF sheets each bookmark has a dotted line around the outside. Cut along that line and keep the inside in one piece. Narrow gaps between petals and stems are already filled in with cream paper, so there are no little windows to cut out, and the outline smooths over the finest leaf and petal tips. The shapes vary, but every one fits within 2 x 6 inches; measured on the sheets, the cut lines run about 5.6 to 5.9 inches long and 1.7 to 1.9 inches wide.
Print the sheets at 100% with scaling off, on cardstock, and let the ink dry before cutting. The PNG and JPG files don’t have the dotted line, so use the PDFs when you want a cutting guide. These are for scissors, not a cutting machine: there are no SVG or cut files.
