Forty emoji puzzles make up this set, one to a page. Each page shows two to four large emoji that stand for a title or a saying, a line for the player’s guess, and a one-line hint underneath for when the table goes quiet.
Five rounds
- Movies (10). From animated family movies to big blockbusters.
- Songs (10). Nursery songs and holiday tunes sit next to pop hits from the 1960s to the 1980s.
- Books (10). Picture books and children’s classics.
- Idioms (5). Everyday English sayings, like a rain cloud, a cat and a dog for a heavy downpour.
- Everyday (5). Ordinary moments such as breakfast, grocery shopping or a movie night on the couch.
Every round opens with its own divider page, and the index on page 3 lists all 40 with their page numbers.
Playing
Hand out one sheet per player, or split the room into teams. Players say their answer out loud, write it on the line, then turn the page around to read the answer printed upside down at the foot. It’s one point per correct answer, and the answer key on pages 49–50 adds a score guide from “under 15” to “35–40.”
Printing
Print in color on white paper at actual size. Paper of 120 gsm or heavier stops the emoji showing through, though ordinary 80 gsm copy paper works too. You can print just the pages for one round instead of the whole set.
