This cherry blossom background set holds 20 designs: 16 square papers covered in sakura and 4 wide garden scenes made for screens. All of them are AI-made art in soft pink, ivory and pale lilac, and none has any text on it.
The 16 square papers
They fall into six small groups, numbered the same way in the files, the index and the PDFs.
- Branches, 01 to 03. Flowering boughs run edge to edge. Blush Boughs has the biggest, most crowded blooms, Ivory Sakura spreads thinner sprigs over a cream ground, and Mauve Sprigs puts brighter pink flowers on a mottled lilac background.
- Trees by a path and a stream, 04 to 06. Two old trunks arch over a dirt path covered in fallen petals in 04. In 05 a tree leans over a shallow stream with mossy rocks, and in 06 long drooping branches hang down to still water.
- Falling petals, 07 to 09. Loose petals scattered over a plain ground: blush in 07, warm ivory in 08, lilac in 09. These are the quietest designs and the only three that tile seamlessly.
- Hillsides, 10 and 11. Blossom Tide looks out over flowering treetops rolling toward low hills at sunrise. Pink Horizon frames a valley of blooming slopes and a blue mountain, with branches across the top corners.
- Blossom sprays, 12 to 14. Clusters of flowers, buds and green leaves on cream, with more open space between them than in 01 to 03. Design 14 mixes in a few lilac-tinted flowers.
- Lanterns, 15 and 16. The two evening pictures. In Lantern Dusk, two glowing paper lanterns hang from a branch against a violet and orange sky, with a small moon and a river below. Moonlit Sakura has one bigger lantern with a tassel, a full moon, and the river catching the light.
Four scenes for a wide screen
Designs 17 to 20 are their own pictures, not crops of the square papers. Two are park views with a wooden bench under the trees: Bench Under Blossoms adds a winding path and a little arched bridge, and Bench in Pearl Grove sets the bench beside a river. The other two look out through an open window, one with white shutters and petals on the sill, the other with a sheer curtain tied back and a weeping cherry outside.
Each scene comes at 3840 x 2160 and at 1920 x 1080, both 16:9, so pick the one that matches your monitor or TV. The two sizes are the same picture. Print-Guide.txt warns that video apps may mirror or crop a background, so check the framing before you sit in front of one on a call. There is no phone-shaped version, and these four are not in the PDFs.
How big they really are
The square JPGs are 3600 x 3600 pixels and set to print at 12 x 12 inches, but that is more than the art itself holds. Design-Index.csv gives the source size of every design: 13 of the squares started at 1254 x 1254 pixels and the wide scenes at about 1672 x 941, and all of them were enlarged. Print-Guide.txt works it out as roughly 105 source pixels per inch at 12 inches wide and 157 at 8 inches, so smaller prints keep more of the fine edges. The three petal designs are the exception, laid out at full size from the start.
For home or office paper, the two PDFs put each square on its own portrait page with white margins: an 8-inch square on US Letter and about 7.77 inches on A4. Print at Actual Size or 100%, and expect the pinks on paper to shift a little from what you see on screen. For the full 12-inch square, use the JPG with larger paper.
Repeating the petals
The Seamless-PNG folder holds 07, 08 and 09 again as repeat tiles. They are the same artwork as those three JPGs, not three more designs. Placed edge to edge with no gaps and no trimming, the petals carry on across the joins. The tiles are opaque, with the colored ground baked in, so they will not float over another background the way clipart would. The other 13 papers are not made to repeat.
