Purple, pink and blue run through all 11 of these outer space charts. The Earth and a shooting star head the reward pages, the stars kids collect have little smiling faces, and the star path ends at an astronaut waiting at the bottom of the page.

Following the day

The routine pages mark the parts of the day with a sun for morning, the Earth for afternoon and a moon for evening. The daily routine page shows ten steps as picture tiles, each with a circle in the corner: wake up, make the bed, brush teeth and eat breakfast in the morning, then backpack, homework and playtime, then bath, a book and bed.

The weekly routine tracker lists the same ten steps down the left side against seven day tabs, Monday to Sunday, with a circle for every day. A line at the bottom reads “A full week of routines = a special treat!”, so the tracker works as a week-long reward chart on its own. The My Day page is the simplest of the three, one column of steps with a dotted line running down the side.

The reward pages

  • Star path: ten circles on a looping road from Start to the astronaut, with Name and My reward boxes under it
  • Sticker chart: ten numbered boxes in two rows and the line “When I collect all 10 stars, I get:”
  • Star meter: a bar from 1 to 10, with a small rocket at the top and the astronaut at the bottom

A row of stars to cut out comes with the path and with the sticker chart, or kids can color the spaces in instead.

Chores and cards

The chore pages list nine household jobs, from setting the table to laundry, as a weekly chart, a one-day checklist and a three-column page. The twelve routine cards come in two cut-out styles, and the framed cards have purple, pink, blue and yellow borders.

The set only comes in color, so a color printer and white cardstock give the cleanest result. A sheet protector over the tracker lets you reuse it week after week with a dry-erase marker.
