Eight animals dressed for a berry picnic, and twelve things they packed for it, make up these strawberry fuse bead patterns. Strawberries are everywhere: on the bunny’s straw hat, the duck’s green bucket hat, the kitten’s pink dress and the brim of a sunhat. Blueberries and cherries cover the rest of the picnic.

The other twelve are picnic objects on a smaller scale, 485 beads for the Blueberry Pair up to 1,059 for the rolled Picnic Blanket, in 13 to 24 colors: Strawberry, Blueberry Pair, Picnic Basket, Strawberry Jam, Berry Sandwich, Blueberry Tart, Berry Lemonade, Picnic Blanket, Strawberry Sunhat, Flower Thermos, Strawberry Cake and Cherry Pair. The biggest of them, the cake slice, is 47 beads across. The space under the basket handle and inside the thermos handle is charted as bare pegboard, so those two keep their openings. All 20 together come to 27,308 beads.
Sorting the colors before you start
Each design numbers its own colors, and the order follows a pattern. Code 01 is always the darkest brown, used along the outlines, and the highest code is always the palest cream or white. The codes in between climb from dark toward light, with a few out of step. Sorting your bead trays in that order means the outline color sits at one end and the fillers at the other.
The pale end is where the volume is. Code 30 on the Strawberry Bunny, a warm cream, covers 717 of its 2,541 beads, more than a quarter. On the single Strawberry, red code 05 is 272 of the 614 beads. The bead-count CSV for each design lists every code with its hex value, so you can check quantities before you buy.
Code numbers restart in every design. Code 05 is red on the Strawberry and something else on the bunny, and none of them are a bead maker’s color numbers. Match each hex swatch to the beads you have. The charts are drawn for standard 5 mm fuse beads such as Perler; Doodlora Studio has no affiliation with Perler or any other bead brand.
On the chart page
Under the numbers, each square is tinted with the color of the original artwork, so the strawberry already looks red while you count codes across it. Character charts run over four blocks, top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right, and the row and column numbers carry straight on from one block to the next. Objects fit on one page. Print at 100% or Actual Size; the squares are there to read, and they aren’t sized to set beads on.
The pack notes that these patterns haven’t been test-fused. Follow your bead maker’s ironing instructions, have an adult do the ironing, and keep loose beads away from small children, who could choke on them.
