Good Manners Cards for Kids
Sixty picture cards that each pose one small situation, like a friend who is still playing or bread that's out of reach, and show the words or action to try. Twenty role-play pages, a four-week chart and a short parent guide help turn the cards into practice.

Good Manners puts 60 picture cards to work practicing polite words and kind actions with young children. The cover marks it for ages 2 to 6. Each card works like a tiny story: a painted scene of the same group of children, a “What would you do?” question, and the answer printed in a colored bar at the bottom.
Four sets of 15
- Everyday manners (red). Please, thank you, you’re welcome, sorry, excuse me, hello, goodbye, may I, can I play too, and no thank you.
- Social skills (blue). Sharing, taking turns, waiting, listening, not interrupting, asking before taking a toy, helping, including someone who’s alone and giving a compliment.
- Table manners (yellow). Sitting calmly, using a napkin and utensils, chewing before talking, small bites, asking for food to be passed, a calm table voice, clearing up and trying a new food.
- Public manners (green). Waiting in line, a quiet voice, walking indoors, personal space, holding the door, leaving others’ things alone, following a sign and putting litter in the bin.
Each set ends with a review card or two, like Manners Master or the Table Manners Challenge, that asks for several of the set’s answers at once. A small tag on each card says whether the answer is something to say, show or do.
Using them
The parent guide suggests choosing three to five cards at a time: name what’s happening in the picture, read the question, give your child time to answer, then model the words and try them once together. The 20 role-play pages take one skill further with three related prompts. The Please page, for example, asks for a turn, thanks someone for a gift and answers a thank-you. The chart has five habits to circle or star each day for four weeks.
The answer key pages list all 60 answers on 8 sheets, each with a one-line coaching tip.
Which file to print
The 4×6 file prints the cards and role-plays at index-card size, one per page, so print at Actual Size on 4×6 card or photo paper. The US Letter and A4 files print each card on a full page, large enough to hold up in front of a small group. The cards are full color, so they need a color printer.
