Laundry day gets its own cast in these 20 laundry fuse bead patterns: seven animals and one sleepy cloud washing, folding, ironing and hanging things up, with twelve pieces of the laundry room to go around them. The palette stays soft, mostly cream, powder blue and peachy pink with dark brown outlines.
Seven animals and a cloud
The Laundry Bunny carries a blue basket with a pink scarf at its neck, the Linen Bear peeks over an armful of pink linens, and the Folding Kitten holds up a blue shirt. The Bubble Duck wears a frilled shower cap and hauls a green sack with a cloud on it, the Towel Lamb hugs a rolled pink towel, the Ironing Puppy holds an iron and the Hanger Hamster lifts a hanger with a sock on it. The eighth character isn’t an animal at all: the Sleepy Cloud, eyes closed under a blue nightcap, clutching a blanket.
The twelve items are the Cloud Washer, Laundry Basket, Cozy Socks, Folded Towels, Cloud Detergent, Bow Hanger, Blue Shirt, Heart Pajamas, Cloud Iron, Fluffy Slippers, Clothespin Box and Linen Hamper. They take 498 to 1,046 beads in 13 to 17 colors. The Bow Hanger is wide, 44 beads, but only 498 beads go into it, because most of its triangle is open. The chart leaves the inside of the hanger and the handles as empty pegs.
Big characters
The characters are big. Each takes 3,040 to 4,149 beads in 20 to 27 colors, and the Laundry Bunny is 63 beads wide and 101 tall, about 20 inches tall at 5 mm per bead. Every character is between 56 and 66 beads wide, so check the dimensions on its chart page before setting up your pegboards.
Size shows up on paper as well. The bunny’s chart is split into four blocks, and each one still holds up to 51 rows on a single Letter or A4 page, so the code numbers print small. If that’s hard to read, the numbered PNG of the bunny is 2,760 by 5,240 pixels and can be zoomed on a tablet or computer. Row and column numbers run continuously across the four blocks either way.
All 20 designs add up to 36,111 beads, and a lot of them are cream. On the Sleepy Cloud, a single cream, code 22, is 1,751 of its 3,331 beads.
What the previews show
In this set the preview pictures are drawn straight from the numbered grid data, so the picture on a preview page shows exactly the bead colors you’ll place, with no extra shading behind them. The pack describes the source artwork as stylized pixel art, with each cell’s color worked out from it.
Each design keeps its own numbered palette, so check the hex value next to a code instead of assuming it matches another chart, and treat the codes as the pack’s own rather than a bead maker’s color numbers. The patterns suit standard 5 mm fuse beads such as Perler; Doodlora Studio is not affiliated with Perler or any other bead brand. They haven’t been test-fused. Follow the instructions that came with your beads, keep the iron for an adult, and keep loose beads away from young children, since they’re a choking hazard. Print at 100% or Actual Size; the squares on the page aren’t drawn at bead size.
